Real Madrid vs. Las Palmas live stream: Watch La Liga online
By Adam Stocker
Real Madrid face Las Palmas at Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, Nov. 5. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Real Madrid had a disappointing week, losing to newly promoted Girona 2-1 and 3-1 to Tottenham in Champions League. The loss to Girona moved Madrid eight points behind Barcelona. Las Palmas are 18th in the league table, with six points in 10 games.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored six goals in Champions League but has only scored once domestically. In addition to Ronaldo, Karim Benzema has struggled in La Liga, scoring only twice. Playing against a potential relegation candidate could be the perfect kickstarter for Ronaldo and Benzema. In addition to their top scorers struggling, injuries have stacked up at the back. Daniel Carvajal and Raphaël Varane are both expected to miss Sunday’s game.
Las Palmas are the worst defensive team in La Liga, allowing 25 goals. The club has dropped six straight games and look like they will be in a relegation battle for the rest of the season. Former Chelsea striker Loic Remy has had a great start to his tenure in Spain. Remy has scored four goals, half of Las Palmas total. Even more impressively, Remy has scored his four goals in only 271 minutes.
