NFL Draft 2018: Updated ranking of the top 32 draft prospects entering Week 11
With a star running back on the other side of the ball, everyone knew that Rashaan Evans and the Alabama Crimson Tide’s defense were going to get plenty of work against the LSU Tigers. It was another strong defensive effort from the group.
Evans himself had an outstanding day doing all things. Guice and Tigers’ running game had 151 yards, but on 42 carries for a 3.6 average. They really had to grind things out against an Alabama defense that wasn’t going to let up.
The linebacker finished the game with 10 tackles and a sack. He proved again that he is a lot more than a run stopper and his versatility had him all over the place. When people ask who is the best player on the Alabama defense, there are multiple options.
Evans for sure continues to make his name as one of the best linebackers in college football altogether this season. Because of that, he’s going to be on the top prospects heading into the NFL Draft.
Tarvarus McFadden is going to be one of the most interesting players to watch come draft season. When it comes to talent and potential, teams are going to see him as a potential top option at the cornerback spot.
When it comes to his 2017 tape, he looks like a player that shouldn’t even be drafted in the first round. Before anyone writes him off because of his play this year, there is a lot to consider when evaluating at him.
One, the Seminoles’ season got derailed from the beginning thanks to injuries and games being delayed to natural disasters. When they did return, it was as if the spark was gone and that seemed to make McFadden appear as if he’s checked out.
If that’s the case, it could make teams question his motor but it could also be just chalked up to a tough year all around for the Seminoles. It’s hard to say that one year has turned him into a different player and he’ll have the combine and other events to speak for himself. Right now, it hasn’t been all good.
