Chicago Bears (-3) vs. Green Bay Packers

After what we saw on Monday Night Football between the so-so Detroit Lions and the listless Green Bay Packers with Brett Hundley as their quarterback, act fast to get the Chicago Bears laying three points at home versus Green Bay.

It is abundantly clear that the Packers are a dead football team with Aaron Rodgers quarterbacking them. Years of doing close to nothing in free agency is biting the Packers hard in the rear. The Packers haven’t exactly killed it in recent NFL Drafts either.

Chicago honestly has the deeper of the two rosters in this game. If rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky can play with poise coming off his first professional bye, the Bears could wind up beating arch rival Green Bay by two touchdowns. Should Trubisky have to game manage, the Bears defense should be able to make life difficult for Hundley and company.

Since Bears head coach John Fox is coaching for his job, look for him to make this a statement game for his football team. The Minnesota Vikings might be the best team in this division, but the only team in the NFC North that has great quarterback play is Matthew Stafford for Detroit. Chicago wins and covers, plain and simple, as this is a lost year for the Packers franchise.
