South Park season 21, episode 7 live stream: Watch online
By David Rouben
South Park returns from its one-week hiatus, continuing the Heidi-Cartman plotline that seemingly has no end in sight. Details on how to watch online.
With another dark week having gone by, there are now only four episodes left in season 21 of South Park. Yet for a season that promised less continuity, Heidi and Cartman are somehow still together. Heidi can’t seem to comprehend the mixed messages that Cartman keeps sending her –he tried to have her killed while the town was on a witch pursuit thingy.
If it feels like this plot line has stalled South Park, that’s because it has. Even during last season’s brilliant election parody, all the scenes where Cartman tried to convince himself — and others — that Heidi is smart and funny got old very quick. It’s a wonder how Trey Parker and Matt Stone haven’t written her off the show yet. However, they have a knack for making grand gestures, so when her time finally does come, expect the show to go all out.
Here’s the synopsis for “Doubling Down,” according to TV Guide:
"Kyle is playing with fire when he gets in the middle of Cartman and Heidi’s relationship."

Perhaps this episode could be South Park’s way of acknowledging that fans are over the Heidi storyline. One of their greatest strengths is meta humor, so whenever they can get to break the fourth wall, they’ll do it. After they nailed their Halloween episode, they’ll look to keep the momentum rolling with this week’s effort.
