High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC at DEN ($10,500): Westbrook’s play has been erratic as of late, but he’s still getting fantasy numbers. He’s averaging 44.3 FPPG during OKC’s three-game losing streak. There’s a chance Westbrook tries to do too much to get his team back into the win column. There’s also a chance he gets others involved and picks his spots. You just never know with Westbrook and the Thunder offense right now. ****

John Wall, WSH vs LAL ($10,000): Revenge will be on the mind of Wall when he meets Lonzo Ball once again. My guess is that he will have learned from his mistakes in their prior meeting and will let the game come to him rather than seek out Ball and turn things into a personal match-up of point guards. Wall has been at his average or better in his last three games and looked just fine coming off a one-game absence due to a should injury, scoring 23 and assisting on 14 against the Mavericks. *****

Kyle Lowry, TOR vs NO ($7,500): As you can see, there’s a big drop between Wall and Lowry in terms of price and likely production given the match-up. The Pelicans are 22nd against the position, but most point guards are getting their points through the three. Lowry has not only taken less three-point attempts this year, but his percentage from deep is down. He’s struggled offensively and the Pelicans won’t make it any easier for him. **
