5 NBA teams that could use Jahlil Okafor

4. Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic are actually off to a hot start. As of Thursday they’re 6-4, and one of their losses was because pretty much all of their point guards were hurt.
That being said they’re still a team just trying to get better. Right now the Magic have a really great center on their roster in Nikola Vucevic, and there’s no reason to mess with his minutes. On the bench they have Bismack Biyombo who they gave an outrageous amount of money too after his performance in the 2016 playoffs with the Toronto Raptors. Biyombo is not worth near the $17 million per year their paying him; so one would think that the Magic might try to sell him to a contender that’s willing to pay him at the deadline.
After that it’s Marrese Speights and Adreian Payne. Speights is nearing the end of his career, and Payne hasn’t panned out since he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks back in 2014. Adding a talent like Okafor, and furthering his development would go a long way towards building their future, especially behind Vucevic.
The Magic don’t have their own second-round pick next year. They’re all contingent on other factors, but ironically enough one of those picks belongs to the Lakers from the infamous Dwight Howard trade.
