High Salary C

Andre Drummond, DET vs MIA ($9,900): Drummond is $1,000 more than Hassan Whiteside, but I’m not sure he’s that much more valuable in Sunday’s contest. Whiteside has done well in recent matchups against DeAndre Jordan and Rudy Gobert. Drummond has the higher ceiling of the two and doesn’t fall as low as Whiteside does, but both guys are risky propositions. **

Clint Capela, HOU at IND ($6,900): No one has benefitted from Harden’s recent surge more than the Rockets athletic center. On an undersized team, Capela is grabbing 11.1 rebounds per game and getting lobs and easy finishes around the basket as Harden draws in defenses. ****

High Value C

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR at BOS ($5,200): At first glance, Boston presents a tough match-up for Valanciunas, but he’s done well in recent games against the Pelicans and Bulls. Valanciunas is averaging 23.4 FPPG and given that I’m picking an upset in Boston, I think he has a strong game. ***

Salah Mejri, DAL at OKC ($3,600): If you think Dallas is going to actually play Nerlens Noel, which they would be wise to do given the match-up, take him. But if you think they’ll continue to be spiteful, Mejri will see the court as Dallas searches for toughness, rim protection, and rebounding against the Thunder. *
