The Ottawa Redblacks host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at TD Place Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 12. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Ottawa Redblacks started the season 1-6-1 but turned their season around finishing 8-9-1, finishing second in the East. Ottawa will host the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the East Division semifinal. The Riders finished fourth in the West Division with a 10-8 record but will crossover into the East playoffs because they finished with a better record than the third-place team in the East.

The Redblacks closed out the season with three straight wins following the return of star quarterback Trevor Harris. Ottawa had an extra week to prepare for the Riders after they had a bye week the last week of the season. Offensively, the Redblacks are explosive with receivers Greg Ellingson and Diontae Spencer as the focal point of the passing game. Ellingson finished the season with 1,459 yards and 12 touchdowns while Spencer had 2,759 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns. In addition to one of the best passing offenses, Ottawa’s run game improved late in the season, with William Powell finishing second in the league with 1,026 rushing yards. The Redblacks offense should get an added boost from the return of left tackle and former Most Oustanding Lineman SirVincent Rogers.

The Roughriders enter the playoffs unsure who will get the majority of snaps at quarterback. Veteran Kevin Glenn was the starter for the majority of the season but injuries and ineffective player opened the door for Brandon Bridge. Glenn and Bridge split snaps for the Riders down the stretch. While Glenn had his best season since 2013, throwing for 4,038 yards and 25 touchdowns, Bridge was more effective later in the season. Both quarterbacks have relied on 1,000-yard receivers Naaman Roosevelt and Duron Carter, who will likely play a big role in the gameplan.

Canadian guard Brendon LaBatte was the Riders nominee for Most Outstanding Lineman but he will miss Sunday’s game. The CFL ratio rule mandates that teams start seven Canadians. Former first overall pick Josiah St. John could start in place of LaBatte if the Riders decided to keep the same ratio. However, the team might opt to start former Most Outstanding Lineman Derek Dennis at guard. If the team opts to start Dennis, they will have to start a Canadian elsewhere. Former Redblack running back Kienan LaFrance could start over Marcus Thigpen or start a second Canadian defensive tackle.
