High Salary PG

John Wall, WAS vs SAC ($9,300): Wall had games of 48, 51.25, and 49.5 fantasy points prior to a 31.57 fantasy point performance against the Hawks. That number is misleading due to Wall only seeing 24 minutes of action in a 19-point victory. Assuming this game is slightly more competitive and Wall is back up to his 30+ minutes, he’s going to get his numbers. Whatever he doesn’t get in points, he makes up for in assists and rebounds. Throw in his defensive numbers, the 25th-ranked Kings defense, and it should be another huge night for Wall. *****

Lonzo Ball, LAL at PHO ($7,300): Ball looked like everything he was hyped up to be against Milwaukee on Saturday, recording the first triple-double of his young career. He finished the night with 71.5 fantasy points, which was impressive by any standard. While the Milwaukee match-up was favorable given their lack of defense and rebounding, the Suns aren’t much of an improvement. Prior to Saturday, Ball was still around 30 FPPG despite his scoring struggles. If he’s figured out his scoring issues, he becomes that much more valuable to owners. *****

Ben Simmons, PHI at LAC ($8,500): Simmons has had a couple of rough games, giving owners just 33.25 fantasy points against the Warriors and 31.5 points against the Kings. Those numbers are way down from his 44.9 FPPG season average. Fortunately for him and potential owners, he takes on the Clippers on Monday. The Clippers have lost seven of their last eight, have the 24th-ranked defense, and are still missing some key players. The rebounds may not be there thanks to DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, but the points and assists should make up for it. ****
