High Salary SG

James Harden, HOU vs TOR ($12,500): Unless you’re betting on Harden going cold, there’s no reason to not have him in your lineup. He pretty much guarantees you 50 fantasy points and has a chance to go well beyond that number. He’s by far the most expensive player available, but his value is just as good as two guys making $6,300. *****

DeMar DeRozan, TOR at HOU ($8,100): Even though the Rockets have the eighth best defense this year, they’re giving up buckets to high scoring guards. DeRozan certainly fits that bill. The Rockets are going to make life difficult on him, but he typically finds a way to get his points. ***

High Value SG

Eric Gordon, HOU vs TOR ($6,300): Gordon continues to excel alongside Harden, and even if Harden slows down a bit, he’s proven to be a value offensive “pick me up.” The Raptors defense has severely underperformed this year and the Rockets definitely won’t help their issues. *****

Marcus Smart, BOS at BKN ($6,200): Smart’s assist numbers have been way up this month. He’s one of the few holdovers from last year and looks very comfortable running Brad Stevens’ offense. His minutes may go down slightly with Irving returning, but he’ll provide owners with good numbers in all categories, adding up to a 30 point night. ****
