Wide receivers to acquire

Primary Target – Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Aim for the stars with this trade and go for broke. Mike Evans is fantasy royalty but the window is there to try and trade for him. He’s coming off of his worst game of the season in Week 9 and spent Week 10 suspended. The Buccaneers are going nowhere and will be missing quarterback Jameis Winston for at least a couple more weeks. There’s a chance Winston could be shut down for the season. He’s the franchise in Tampa and it makes zero sense for them to force him in the lineup in a lost season.

Evans now has to deal with Ryan Fitzpatrick as his quarterback but that may not be the worst thing. Sure, Fitzpatrick isn’t that good. He does have the tendency to feed his number one option with a ton of targets. The schedule isn’t the easiest to navigate but Evans is matchup proof. Owners have to be a little jumpy given all the factors surrounding Evans right now. Use all those perceived shortcomings to pounce before it’s too late.

Secondary Targets

Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings – Diggs is just coming back up to speed after a groin injury cost him a significant chunk of the season. He has a history of injuries and also has a track record of disappearing when he’s on the injury report. That makes it easy to spot when he needs to be out of a lineup. His schedule is a little difficult but Diggs is a stud when he’s right. Possibly getting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater back under center could be a nice boost as well.

DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins – It’s interesting to see and hear the perception around Parker. There’s many who think he hasn’t played well this season but when he’s been on the field, Parker has been lights out. He hasn’t dipped below 66 yards in any game that he’s finished. He did leave one game early with the ankle injury that ultimately kept him out a month. Quarterback Jay Cutler loves Parker and he’d be a great addition to any fantasy team.
