Tight ends to acquire

Primary Target – Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts

Even though the Colts have a harder rest of the season schedule, tight end Jack Doyle could wind up benefiting. He is massively involved in the Colts offense. The fewest amount of targets he’s seen in any game this far is five. He’s been reliable since both T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief have had their ups and downs.

His schedule doesn’t look as bad as it does for Hilton. Denver has struggled with tight ends throughout the season. In fact, no defense the Colts play rank above average in playing against the tight end position. If Hilton and Moncrief are struggling, it makes sense for Doyle to help pick up some slack. Tight end has been a terrible position this season and Doyle should come fairly cheap after a quiet game against Pittsburgh.

Secondary Target

Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills – Before he missed some time with a knee injury, Clay was one of the better tight ends in fantasy. The Bills don’t have a ton of good options in their passing game and the jury is out on just how effective newly acquired wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin will be. Clay does have a couple of tough games coming up the next two weeks as he gets back up to game speed. However, his last four games are all against below average defenses against tight ends.
