Best NFL games of Week 11: Goff, Keenum meet in NFC showdown
By Joe Schiller
1. Los Angeles Rams at Minnesota Vikings
If you would’ve told me the Rams and Vikings would be facing off in Week 11 both at 7-2, I’d call you crazy. In fact, I think just about everyone would call you crazy, but this is the game of the week and I’m more intrigued with this game than Sunday Night Football.
The Vikings have overcome injury obstacles and still are one of the best teams in the NFC this season. Case Keenum has stepped in and exceeded expectations. It helps to have a top-five defense this season but that’s not something you can fault Keenum for. He’s on pace to lead the Vikings to a division title and potential first-round bye this season. Until we see any drop in production, Teddy Bridgewater will continue to sit in the shadows.

We knew the Rams would improve this year but not by this much. Sean McVay is the frontrunner for Coach of the Year and will come away with the award if the Rams keep winning. They’re flying around on both sides of the ball and Jared Goff is finally looking like the No. 1 pick that was hyped up coming into last year’s draft. They still might not be able to full up the L.A. Coliseum but no opposing team wants to come up against the Rams on a weekly basis.
The Eagles are still the No. 1 seed in the NFC but this is the fight for the second-round bye. Expect a tough defensive battle that will likely come down to a last-second field goal. Don’t be surprised to see these two teams in a rematch later on this year.
