Every NFL team’s Mount Rushmore
Denver Broncos
-John Elway, Terrell Davis, Shannon Sharpe, Von Miller
This one featured a ton of internal debate, with my rule on repeats coming into play to help make my decision last-minute on the fourth name on the list. In the end, the Denver Broncos come out with one of the best Mount Rushmore’s out of any team in the league, with a nice mix of old and new faces.
To start, you have to begin any Broncos Mount Rushmore with John Elway. Between his success as a player and his added impact as a higher-up in the organization over the last few years, Elway’s impact has been very evident over the last few decades, and he is really the face of the franchise (no pun intended).
Next, you have to add in Terrell Davis when you’re talking about the legendary Broncos teams of old that made it to the Super Bowl in multiple seasons. Davis was a two-time Super Bowl champion and added a Super Bowl MVP win to his long list of achievements to further establish his spot on the list.
Now, this is where things started to get dicey, and the glaring omission becomes evident that Peyton Manning can’t be on this mountain. He’ll get his spotlight later on, but it helps to pave the way for Shannon Sharpe, who adds some more Super Bowl rings to this list. He won three Super Bowls, made it to eight Pro Bowls and even earned a Hall of Fame jacket to help round out this Rushmore well.
This Von Miller bobblehead would be a great addition to your collection.
Then, to round out the list with Von Miller who helped lead the Broncos to their most recent Super Bowl win.
