Cleveland Browns

While many judge the Cleveland Browns for their current struggles, there’s a ton of history to work with when it comes to the franchise and a few players who instantly stick out as members of this Mount Rushmore.

For starters, we’ll go with a player whose last name fits the mold pretty perfectly: Jim Brown. He was an NFL champion in 1964, an AP NFL MVP three times and remains one of the greatest backs in the history of the league. He was a star on a franchise that has since gone downhill and is one of the few positive pieces of Browns history.

Next up is Otto Graham, who to this day is one of the league’s all-time great quarterbacks. He led the team to 10 straight championship games and is a nice break away from the endless list of quarterbacks that the Browns have had over the last decade or so. He’s a Hall of Famer for a reason and earns a spot on the list for his efforts.

Now, to go to the modern-day, we’ll showcase Joe Thomas on this Mount Rushmore, for his durability and ability to endure the absolute madness that is playing for the Browns week in and week out. He hadn’t missed a snap until he got hurt a few weeks into the 2017 season and somehow didn’t go crazy dealing with the endless losses in the AFC North.

Kick it old school with this vintage Browns t-shirt.

To round things out, we’ll bookend the mountain with another “Brown”: Paul Brown. He’s arguably the greatest coach of all time, and he earns a spot on this list to make up for the lack of overall talent in the player pool in Browns history.
