Rashaan Evans

LB, Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide had their work cut out for them against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. They faced their first real upset scare of the season and it took until the bitter end to come out with the win on the road.

Nonetheless, the Crimson Tide have retaken control of the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings. In the win, Rashaan Evans had himself a big night that his team needed from him when it counted.

He finished the night with nine tackles, one sack and 2.5 tackles for loss. He was a menace all over the field and brought the intensity that the Crimson Tide needed in a battle against a really good program.

Alabama had seemingly run through everyone leading up tot his point. However, there was always going to be that one road test that gave them a run for their money. Evans and company held it down and keep on rolling.

Tarvarus McFadden

CB, Florida State

Most lists have probably dropped Tarvarus McFadden out of their top 32 and he could soon fall out of this one before the season is over. However, the talent is there and he’s just not showing it any way this season.

It’s long been discussed what a disaster this year has truthfully been for the Seminoles. Injuries and delays have put the team behind at any chance they have had of getting to their goals this year.

Still, that’s no excuse for poor play from players they are depending on. Tarvarus McFadden hasn’t looked like the top cornerback that people have been expecting to see this year and his return skill have been awful.

That being said, it could be a case of him just playing it out until he hits the next level. If that’s the case, he better hope for a strong offseason in hopes that he hasn’t cost himself a lot of money this year.
