3. Cleveland capers

After a horrible start to the season in Cleveland, things are finally looking to have turned around for the Cavaliers. Cleveland is riding a three-game winning streak and climbing back up to its rightful place among the Eastern conference’s top teams. Regardless of all this, it’s not the winning ways that have landed LeBron James and company on the front pages, it’s their antics throughout the last few games.

James has seen himself rise from “The King” to “The King of New York” after hitting a go-ahead 3-pointer over Kristaps Porzingis which eventually won the game for the Cavaliers. James took to social media to claim his new territory in which he will rule following the win. The win included many storylines. Ironically enough, a 20-plus-point comeback was not the biggest story of all. James has now found two new foes to feud with in Enes Kanter and Frank Frank Ntilikina. A shoving match occured with Ntilikina and Kanter got into James’ face during the game and continued to battle with the 32-year-old with comments postgame. However, James took the high road in the Kanter situation.

As if that wasn’t enough, the Cavaliers took the subway. Thus prompting the city of Charlotte government to instigate James via Twitter in a now-deleted tweet. Charlotte suggested that the Cavaliers would take the light rail home after taking an “L”. While the Cavaliers did not comment on the tweet, James certainly must’ve had the comments in mind when he brought down the city with a monster dunk late in the game.

Cleveland has now become one of the most fun teams in the league. Their winning, fun mentality has now brought them back to above .500 on the season.
