1. Dallas Cowboys

Finally coming in at No. 1 on the list is America’s team. Even with all the off the field distractions of Ezekiel Elliott and Jerry Jones, the Cowboys enter a must-win game against their division rivals this week. After getting completely embarrassed by the Falcons last week, what better way to turn it around than an upset over the best team in football right now? That’s what the Cowboys will be looking to do come Sunday night.

With Elliott, the Cowboys’ offense doesn’t really have an identity. Dak Prescott is a decent pocket passer but he thrives on having that balanced run game alongside him. Alfred Morris and Rod Smith just don’t provide that same kind of threat on the ground. This is the reality the Cowboys are going to be stuck with for the next five games.

A 5-4 record isn’t the worst spot to be in and the Cowboys sit just three games behind the Eagles in the division. It may seem like out of reach but these teams still have to come up against each other two times this season. In division matchups, you have to throw the records out of the window because you never know what’s going to happen.

The Cowboys have the advantage of the home crowd but they’re going to need more than noise to stop Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense. Wentz is playing on an MVP level and he’s got a plethora of weapons around him. This game is lopsided on paper in favor of the Eagles but I don’t see it playing out like that Sunday night. With one of the toughest schedules to end out the season, a win on Sunday shows that the Cowboys are a team who can compete heading into the postseason.
