Miami Hurricanes (10-0)

Last week: W 44-28 vs. Virginia
Last rank: 3

It was not pretty early for the Miami Hurricanes, who came into their ACC matchup against Virginia looking to stay undefeated. While the Hurricanes came into the game, flying high off of their win against Notre Dame last weekend, they struggled mightily during the first half against the Cavaliers. By the time the two teams went into the locker room for halftime, Virginia had built a 21-14 lead, and would score first in the second half to go up 28-14.

From there, it was all Hurricanes, as they ran off 30 straight points to beat Virginia by the score of 44-28. Malik Rosier finished up with three touchdowns through the air, and one on the ground, as the Hurricanes stayed perfect overall, and in ACC play. Miami will not hit the road to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers in their regular season finale, with a matchup against Clemson in the ACC title game on the horizon.

With the win, Miami ran their current winning streak to 15 games, which is the longest streak in all of college football. While Rosier got it done with his arm, Travis Homer got it done on the ground, rushing for nearly 100 yards and a touchdown. Ahmmon Richards led the way by catching four balls for 51 yards and a score, as the Hurricanes looked like a juggernaut after the Cavaliers scored to make it 28-14.

If the Hurricanes can get past Pittsburgh, it will make the ACC Championship Game must-watch television. Whichever team wins that game is certain to get into the College Football Playoff, and if Clemson beats Miami, it will make for some interesting discussion as to who gets in. For now, Miami needs to just keep their head down and finish up the regular season, and worry about the reigning national champs when they get there.
