High Value PG

Jamal Murray, DEN at LAL ($5,200): The Lakers defense has been torn up in the last two games, giving up 122 points to the Suns and 115 points to the Sixers. The Nuggets offense just dropped 146 on the Pelicans. Something has to give in this one. Murray’s shooting has been a big reason for the Nuggets offensive output in recent games. While he’s unlikely to shoot 72 percent from the field again, he’s been above 50 percent in three of his last four. Ride the hot hand while you can. ****

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs GS ($6,000): Dinwiddie probably isn’t going to go for 50.25 fantasy points like he did against the Jazz, but he remains the best option on Brooklyn with D’Angelo Russell and Jeremy Lin sidelined. He’s proven that he can score efficiently and get his teammates involved. The Warriors will likely zone in on him, but this feels like a bit of a trap game (back-to-back with OKC coming next) where they win on talent and system, while still giving up more points than they should to an inferior squad. ****

Tim Frazier, WAS at TOR ($3,400): Obviously, wait until the Wizards make a decision on Wall before going with Frazier. The last time Wall missed a game, it also came against the Raptors. Frazier filled in for him in that one and gave owners a solid 20.5 fantasy points. Assuming Wall is out again, Frazier will be the starter and he’ll see upwards of 27 minutes, which should lead to an increase in production. He doesn’t score a lot, but he’s a good passer who knows how to get shots for Bradley Beal and Otto Porter. ***
