High Salary PG

Ben Simmons, PHI vs UTA ($9,200): Simmons has posted back-to-back 50+ fantasy games, and that number could have been higher if he was able to snag one or two more rebounds in those contests. The Jazz defense looked a lot more like themselves in a 125-85 victory over the Magic, but it’s hard to ignore the prior gams where they were out of sorts. It’s also hard to ignore just how good Simmons is. He has a double-double in three straight games and shows no signs of slowing down. *****

Lou Williams, LAC at NY ($7,000): The Knicks have struggled defending guards all season. Patrick Beverly will be back in the lineup for the Clippers, which will take away a bit of production from Williams, but he’s still the best scoring guard on the Clippers. He’s a bit hot-and-cold, but getting shots and chances has never been an issue for him. Against the 23rd ranked defense, Williams should be able to get his buckets. ****

Kyrie Irving, BOS at DAL ($8,500): Irving is averaging 39.5 FPPG in his three games since returning from injury. That number is slightly above his 37.2 season average. The Mavericks clamped down the Bucks on Saturday, but their defense is still 22nd in the league. Irving should not have much of an issue cutting through the Mavericks defense and challenging their lack of interior presence. *****
