Stan Humphries Division

21. Josh McCown (Prev: 22)

McCown comes off the bye and draws a tough Carolina defense. The Jets aren’t good but they are much better than anybody expected, and plenty of credit goes to McCown. He’s completing 69 percent of his throws on 7.16 yards per attempt. Not bad.

20. Eli Manning (Prev: 19)

Manning was below-average against the Chiefs on Sunday, but the Giants still won thanks to a Kansas City tank job going on five weeks now. Manning didn’t turn the ball over, but only threw for 195 yards, mostly on short throws.

19. Andy Dalton (Prev: 18)

Dalton went into Denver and didn’t do much throughout the contest, before eventually finding A.J. Green on a rope of a throw to score the game-winning touchdown. Dalton has endured a mediocre year (16 TDs, 8 INTs, 61.8 comp. rate) but beating the No Fly Zone deserves respect.

18. Tyrod Taylor (Prev: 20)

Taylor has to be back in the lineup this weekend against the Chiefs. He wasn’t great in the first two months of the season, but if we have to rank Nathan Peterman here, he’s going No. 48.

17. Marcus Mariota (Prev: 15)

Mariota gets a pass from many because he has tools, and he was the second-overall pick a few years ago. At this point, he’s done getting one here. His four-interception performance against the Steelers was embarrassing, as are his season stats of 2,089 yards with eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions. If this was Andy Dalton, people would be screaming to bench him.
