NFL quarterback rankings, Week 12: Dak Prescott struggling
Roger Staubach Division
8. Matt Ryan (Prev: 10)
Ryan took advantage of a hampered Legion of Boom and threw the ball well in Seattle, evening cold weather in a hostile environment. Atlanta isn’t going anywhere without Ryan playing at an elite level, and he has elevated his play over the past two weeks.
7. Jared Goff (Prev: 6)
Goff couldn’t beat the Vikings, but we won’t drop him far for his showing. All told, the second-year man threw for 225 yards on 37 attempts, but didn’t turn the ball over. He only has four interceptions on the season thus far.
6. Philip Rivers (Prev: 8)
Rivers is ninth in the league with 2,514 passing yards on the year, keeping Los Angeles on the edge of the playoff picture. While the Chargers can’t protect particularly well, Rivers is completing just 60.3 percent of his throws but with only seven picks.
5. Matthew Stafford (Prev: 9)
Stafford has the Lions in good position as they head into a Thanksgiving Day tilt with the Vikings. The veteran has 2,760 passing yards and 19 touchdowns, numbers that would have him in the MVP race if Detroit was more of a national topic.
