Mike McGlinchey

Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

The Denver Broncos have been an absolute mess since getting off to a 3-1 start, and incredibly, their first-year head coach may be out the door. Vance Joseph looked like such a good hire early on, but in recent weeks, his team just does not look prepared, and they are losing at an incredible pace. The Cincinnati Bengals went into Mile High this past weekend and picked up a win, so you know things are wrong in Denver when that happens.

When it comes to this team, there are a lot of deficiencies on the offensive side of the ball. Sure, they have no quarterback, and because of that, the offense has been a train wreck as of late. They also do not have a resemblance of an offensive line, and they may decide to go offensive tackle for the second straight year in the first round. If they do go tackle, they should look to bring in Mike McGlinchey, who is the most NFL-ready of the bunch.

Denver selected Garett Bolles in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and have been using him at left tackle this season. He has not played great, and it seems he may be more suited for the right side of the line. Drafting another tackle in 2018 would give the Broncos a nice set of bookends for the next 10 seasons, though the team does still have to go out and find someone who can play the quarterback position that they can block for.
