Nick Chubb

RB, Georgia

Nick Chubb really went all out after a poor week against Auburn. The Kentucky Wildcats were the unlucky recipient of being gashed on the ground by the Georgia running game and Chubb showed absolutely no mercy.

He averaged 10.1 yards a carry en route to 151 yards on 15 touches. He found the end zone twice in the win. Playing angry is apparently the way to go and Chubb needs to bring that intensity over the next two weeks if the team wants to make the College Football Playoff.

After their game against Georgia Tech this week, Chubb and company will take on the winner of Alabama and Auburn next week. One team offers the ultimate defensive challenge while the other offers a chance at revenge.

There’s not a better place for him to prove that he’s the best running back in the nation than by taking down one of the top teams in the nation. He’s healthy and showed resolve after a bad performance.

Calvin Ridley

WR, Alabama

Calvin Ridley will finish his Alabama career high on the school receptions list when it’s all said and done. He’s had an incredible year and has proven himself to be an absolute superstar during his tenure.

Against Mercer, Ridley only had three receptions on the day but still managed to finish with 103 yards and a touchdown. His longest being for 66 yards and showing the speed that he has down the field.

The hands, the footwork, and everything is spot on when it comes to Ridley. He’s a superstar in waiting and Alabama has a proven record with wide receivers that has been exceptional over the years.

He’s going to need to have his biggest performances of the year over the next month. The Tide have Auburn in the Iron Bowl this week and if they win, Georgia next. Then if they win that, the College Football Playoff.
