Arden Key

EDGE, LSU

The battle for top EDGE prospect in the draft is down to a two-way battle. It’s all a matter of if teams prefer Arden Key or Boston College’s Harold Landry. Key’s been battling injuries this year and should hopefully be back soon.

In fact, health has been a bit of a struggle for both prospects this year but they have both flashed the pass rushing skills that teams will be looking for near the top of the draft. Key is back on the rise as a result.

He didn’t play in the game against Tennessee after a knee injury, but it doesn’t appear to be anything too serious. The Tigers will finish their regular season slate this week with a home contest against Texas A&M.

From there, they’ll get ready to move onto bowl season. Key’s likely only got a couple of games left in his tenure as a Tiger and then he’ll go into draft season ready to show why he should be the first EDGE off the board.

Christian Kirk

WR, Texas A&M

Trying to figure out which wide receiver in this class is going to go first might as well be random choice. Every single one of them is different yet dominant in their own way. Christian Kirk is the guy with speed that stretches the field.

He is also the guy that will change an entire game with his dynamic return abilities. That’s something that has become prevalent at the NFL level. A receiver that has number one ability but can also change the game by returning punts and kicks.

Kirk had five receptions for 77 yards in a huge win on the road against Ole Miss. They needed every single yard they could get out of him as he tied for the lead in receptions with Damion Ratley.

Now, Kirk will have a big test this week in the regular season finale on the road. The Aggies will take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. It’s a chance for Kirk to continue to tack onto his career receptions total before bowl season.
