9. Donte Moncrief, Indianapolis Colts

It’s pretty far from comfortable to be writing up Donte Moncrief, but owners need to chase the touchdown upside here even if the volume isn’t very high. Potential owners need to understand the floor is extremely low. Moncrief has a combined four targets in the last three games. This play is more about the matchup and coming off a bye week.

The Colts have a chance to score some points versus the Tennessee Titans this week. Seeing as how the Titans just gave up 40 points to the Steelers, they are pretty vulnerable. Pittsburgh hadn’t been playing terribly well on offense before last Thursday night. The Titans biggest weakness on defense is defending the pass and that meshes well with what Indy can do on offense. The running game isn’t doing much with Frank Gore and Marlon Mack splitting work. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has performed as well as anyone could have asked him to this season.

In the first meeting with the Titans, Moncrief had five receptions for 67 yards on seven targets. He has every chance to hit that yardage mark this week even if the receptions aren’t that high. He’s a very low-end flex that could leave put up zero points but he has tangible upside if owners are in a pinch.
