Black Friday is here and Home Depot is one of the hottest destinations for holiday shoppers looking for a deal. What time is Home Depot open on Black Friday?

If Home Depot is on your list of Black Friday destinations, you will be able to start shopping at 6 a.m. on Friday morning. Stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, which means that everyone will be ready to go bright and early on Black Friday morning.

If you don’t want to wait until 6am on Friday to make your Black Friday purchases at Home Depot, you can also find all of the Black Friday deals online at Home Depot’s website. You can shop from the comfort of your home all day on Thanksgiving and all night long into the wee hours before Home Depot even opens on Black Friday. Most purchases qualify for free two-day shipping, and Home Depot is offering free shipping on all holiday decor including Christmas trees. It’s a nice alternative for people who either don’t want to deal with the holiday rush at the stores, or who would like to be able to hit more than one store on Black Friday morning.

We do need to put a disclaimer out there that Home Depot, unlike a Target or Game Stop, is busy in the mornings because of contractors and workers buying supplies for their job sites. Keep in mind that most Home Depot locations open at 6 a.m. on regular business days and there will be several contractors there buying supplies in addition to holiday shoppers. You’ll also see people there taking advantage of both the sale prices and the long holiday weekend to do some home improvement projects, so Home Depot Black Friday shopping can be a bit of a mixed bag and you never know what the crowds will be going after.
