Nick Chubb

RB, Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs are preparing for a rematch with Auburn this week. The two programs will meet in the SEC Championship and the winner will go on and represent the conference in the College Football Playoff.

When these two programs last met, Nick Chubb was bottled up by the Auburn defense and couldn’t get anything going. This time, it will be a great opportunity for him to try and reverse fortune.

Will the Bulldogs let him loose and feed him some more carries this week? Against Georgia Tech, he continued to platoon with Sony Michel and was given just 12 carries on the afternoon. He did finish with a touchdown to go with 53 yards.

He’s been in that consistent 12 – 17 carries range all year with the exception of a few games. He’s stayed healthy now for two straight seasons as well and he should have fresh legs for whichever NFL team ends up drafting him.

Christian Kirk

WR, Texas A&M

In the last regular season game under Kevin Sumlin, Christian Kirk again led Texas A&M in receiving. When it comes to the most underappreciated wide receivers in college football, he fits the bill.

He’s had the best years of his college career take a back seat to constant coaching turmoil, a decrepit passing attack and teams that didn’t live up the billing. Still, that hasn’t stopped Kirk from being one of the more dynamic players in the country.

Against LSU, Kirk finished with seven receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. His speed and ability to stretch the field make him perhaps the most lethal target of any wide receiver draft prospect.

Teams at the next level value speed and getting faster with each passing draft class. Kirk provides that speed and the ability to change a game with his ability to return the football via punts and kickoffs.
