Seattle Seahawks (+5.5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

This never happens. The Seattle Seahawks are getting 5.5 points at home from the Philadelphia Eagles. Since when do the Seahawks get points at home? Yes, the right play here would be to take a desperate Seahawks team getting points versus an Eagles team that could afford to drop a game.

Seattle is 7-4, but is on the outside looking in at a playoff spot in the NFC. The Seahawks are one game back of the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West race and lost the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Atlanta Falcons for the No. 6 seed. Philadelphia needs one more win to lock up the NFC East race and that win doesn’t have to come in the home of the 12th Man.

The Eagles might be 10-1, but they have only beaten one team with a winning record this season. That would be on the road to the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football in the middle of October. Philadelphia’s opponents have been laughably bad. Seattle is no joke and the Seahawks need a win in the worst way.

Could the Eagles decimate the atrocious Seahawks offensive line with their formidable pass rush? You better believe it. However, playing behind a wet paper bag of an offensive line hasn’t stopped Russell Wilson from being a perennial Pro Bowl these last several years. Seattle will play its A game and upset the Eagles. At the very least, take the Seahawks getting 5.5 points.
