3. Adrian denies Manchester City all three points

The Premier League weekend finishes at the Etihad on Sunday when a struggling West Ham side visit table-toppers Manchester City. Everything points to this game being an absolute demolition by Pep Guardiola’s side and it’s hard to see any other result.

West Ham’s form has not picked up since David Moyes took over (shock) and in his three games in charge they’ve conceded seven goals while only netting once. They were torn apart by Everton on Wednesday and Joe Hart came under more criticism for his performance.

This weekend Hart is unable to play because his loan agreement states he can’t feature against his parent club. This opens the door for Spanish keeper Adrian to come in and prove that he’s the best shot stopper at West Ham.

The Hammers are going to need something incredibly special to get anything out of this game and Adrian is going to produce that. The Spaniard is a solid keeper and he will know that a big performance can get him back his starting spot for the Hammers.

Manchester City have narrowly scraped wins in their last two games with late Raheem Sterling strikes in both of them. This time their luck will have run out and Adrian’s wonderful performance will mean they drop points in the league for the first time since they drew with Everton in August.
