FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 2, 2017
High Value PG
Austin Rivers, LAC at DAL ($6,400): Rivers stepped up in the Clippers first contest without Blake Griffin with 35 fantasy points. He’s been great over the last week, hitting 35+ fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’ll need to continue playing at this level if the Clippers have any hopes of remaining competitive. He had 24.5 fantasy points in the game against the Mavericks a month ago, but circumstances were obviously different then. ****
Dennis Smith Jr., DAL vs LAC ($5,600): Smith Jr. is currently listed as a game-time decision with an illness. It’s something worth keeping an eye on, but all expectations are that he plays. Smith Jr. has been below his 25.8 FPPG season average in three straight. He had 20.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 1. He only needs 23.9 fantasy points to hit his value. He should be at that number, at worst. If not, then there might be cause for concern. ***
Reggie Jackson, DET at PHI ($5,900): Jackson was abysmal against the Wizards, giving owners just 15 fantasy points. Prior to Friday, he had back-to-back 30-plus fantasy point games. He had 30.7 fantasy points in an October meeting with the Sixers, which does help his cause. This just feels like a tough matchup for Jackson given that the Sixers are 10th against the position in their last 15 and catching Detroit on a back-to-back. Jackson can post big numbers, but he’s risky on Saturday. **
