Best NFL highlights from Week 13: Alvin Kamara is unreal

4. FAKE PUNT ALERT!
Fake punts have been out in full force this season. We saw the Ravens execute the fake against the Texans last Monday night and the Jaguars continued that today. Backed up in their own half of the field and facing a fourth and long, punter Brad Nortman took the snap and floated a pass to tight end James O’Shaughnessy for the big gain. It got the Jaguars into the end zone and set up an eventual touchdown score.
Sometimes the best offense is when the defense is least expecting it. That’s a bold call by Doug Marrone but one that worked to perfection. Nortman looked like a natural in the pocket and that’ll bode well for his career quarterback stats.
Blake Bortles better watch out.
3. Oh my, Evan Engram
The Giants suck but at least Evan Engram is good. The rookie tight end has been great this season and put on a show today against the Raiders, highlighted by this one-handed catch late in the fourth quarter. Engram brought in the catch over safety Karl Joseph and linebacker Nicholas Morrow. That’s one of the better catches you’ll see this season, especially for a tight end.
At this point, the Giants really don’t have much to cheer about. Geno Smith is the starting quarterback and they’re creeping closer and closer to a top pick next season. It’s rebuilding time in New York but at least Engram a player to be excited about.
