25. Rakeem and Dionte Christmas — Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns

It’s finally here! The final day of the NBA jersey advent calendar!

It’s also Christmas Day. That’s right, Ebeneezer Scrooge, you haven’t slept through it after all. Go get the biggest goose in the goose store and invite all your friends to dinner for some delicious roasted bird. Before they arrive make sure to pull on one (or both) of these jerseys to help you celebrate the holiday in style.

All you need to know about the picks for today is that their last name is Christmas, and they wear jersey number 25.

There should be a law that if your last name is Christmas and you are a professional athlete you have to wear number 25. Anybody on your team already wearing number 25 has got to give it up.

If a utility infielder named Joe Christmas joined the San Francisco Giants the season Barry Bonds hit 73 home runs Barry should have to give up the number 25 with a smile on his face for old Joey. The government should make that a law.

Rakeem and Dionte’s professional careers aren’t much to write home about. The two players combined have a mere 61 games of experience spread out over three NBA seasons.

But their name is a reminder of presents and trees and snow and Santa Claus!

The Suns jerseys Phoenix wore when Dionte played for the team in 2013-14 were pretty nice as well. The sunburst outline coming from the front jersey number is a tasteful, understated work of art.
