Arizona State at. Kansas, Sunday 2:00 p.m. ET

Two of the most explosive offenses in college basketball will collide on Sunday afternoon at Phog Allen Fieldhouse, where Arizona State will look to pull off a stunning upset.

The Sun Devils have been one of the biggest surprises in the nation with a perfect 7-0 start, including an impressive 102-86 win over  Xavier. Behind the nation’s 11th-most efficient offense per KenPom, Bobby Hurley has the Sun Devils in the top 20 of the AP Poll for the first time since 2009.

As always, the Jayhawks are among the national title favorites, and have reeled off seven straight wins including a triumph over Kentucky to rise to No. 2 in the AP Poll. Despite the absence of highly-rated freshman Billy Preston, the Jayhawks are lethal on the perimeter with a 43.5 shooting percentage from beyond the arc.

Arizona State’s Tra Holder is averaging 22.6 points per game as one of the most effective scorers in college basketball, with four other Sun Devils piling up at least 15 points per contest. Devonte’ Graham is leading the Jayhawks with 18.6 points per game, while senior Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is enjoying a breakout campaign while shooting an incredible 54.3 percent from deep.

The two teams are combining to average 184 points per game this season, so Sunday’s showdown could be the most entertaining game of the week.
