High Salary Wingers

Nikita Kucherov, TB vs. NYI ($8600): Kucherov is going to cost you and he is well worth it. He is the third highest point producer in the league behind his teammate Steven Stamkos and Kucherov is quite possibly the best player in the NHL this season. Paying up for the solid 20.8 fantasy points per game average is worth it. Also, he is on the second line with the afore-mentioned Brayden Point. Stacking them is a high leverage play and he will be low owned.

Jamie Benn, NSH at DAL ($7300): If you’re playing Tyler Seguin, you should pair Benn with him. If Seguin is scoring Benn is involved and vice versa. Don’t play them one-off or you may regret it. His 11 goals and 12 assists this season make him a solid high-priced play tonight.

Blake Wheeler, WPG at DET ($7700): Averaging 17.8 fantasy points per game and skating on the top line Wheeler is a strong play tonight either stacked or just paired with Mark Scheifele.

High Value Wingers

Pavel Buchnevich, NYR at PIT ($5700): A great strategy to employ is finding value on the top line players on the road because home teams often start the game with their top line instead of their checking line. That will be the case tonight and Buchnevich is a talented sniper with a high ceiling and a low price in a potentially high scoring game.

Chris Kreider, NYR at PIT ($5500): Kreider is a speed guy, what that means is he makes open ice for himself due to his speed. The match-up tonight is perfect for him and if game logs are any indication of potential, he Kreider has put up several monster games this year and the trend represents that up-tempo games are where that value has shown up all season. It will be hard to stack this game so Kreider is more of a one-off value play at best.

Mathieu Perreault, WPG at DET ($4200): Hoping people forgot his last game where his fantasy points totaled 36.5 where Perreault had a breakout game. FanDuel barely moved his price which is not unusual for one-off games but his floor is 12.3 fantasy points per game. He will be finding his way into a Winnipeg stack in a lot of lineups tonight.
