Mason Rudolph

Quarterback, Oklahoma State

The New York Jets took on the Kansas City Chiefs this past weekend, and they were able to hang 38 points on the Chiefs defense. Veteran quarterback Josh McCown has been a playmaker for the Jets this season, as he showed he can get it done with his arm, and his legs on Sunday. The Jets have won five games through their first 12, which is an incredible feat considering they were not expected to win more than three the entire season.

While McCown has been great this season, he is certainly not the long-term answer at the position, as he is one of the oldest non-kickers in the league. When it comes time for the Jets to draft in April, look for them to grab a signal-caller, and Mason Rudolph from Oklahoma State is a good one. Rudolph is a big reason why the Cowboys had one of the more electric offenses in the country the last couple of seasons, and he is going to be a solid pro.

The Jets have to get this right, as they have not had a legitimate franchise quarterback in what seems like forever. While the team got rid of most of their veteran talent this offseason, it did allow them to see their young players grow, especially wide receiver Robby Anderson. Anderson would be a perfect target for Rudolph, who has used fellow first rounder James Washington to perfection during his time at Oklahoma State.
