Bradley Chubb

Edge, N.C. State

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been a disappointment this season, in a year that many expected would be the one where they finally get back to the playoffs. During the 2015 NFL Draft, the Buccaneers selected Jameis Winston in the first round, and he has been a solid player ever since. In 2017, he has had to deal with some injuries, and with him out of the lineup, this team is not good enough to win games with guys like Ryan Fitzpatrick under center.

Winston made his return from a shoulder injury this past weekend, though it was not enough to beat a Green Bay Packers team without Aaron Rodgers. The Bucs lost to the Packers in overtime, as backup Brett Hundley dropped 26 points on them. They need help on the defensive side of the ball, and N.C. State edge rusher Bradley Chubb could certainly help.

Chubb is one of the more explosive players in this draft class, and he seems to get better every week. He looks like the kind of player who can come in and be dominant at the NFL level right away, and the Bucs would need a player with his skill set if they take him next year. Chubb not only can get the edge, but he is an incredible tackler, and the Bucs need to start building their defense up to match the playmakers they have on offense.
