3. Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

There was a chance this game was going to get flexed out of the Sunday night time slot but the NFL and NBC decided to keep it. That was a good choice because both teams come into Sunday night’s game with high playoff expectations. The Ravens and Steelers always seem to play great games and while a 26-9 win in Week 4 wasn’t the best game, we should see a much closer matchup 10 weeks later.

The Ravens have rattled off three straight wins and control their own destiny in the wild-card race. Finishing 10-6 seems more and more like a possibility and that would be a miracle compared to what we saw earlier this season. They’ve completely turned things around and now have to sustain that the rest of the season. Last week’s win over the Lions was a major confidence booster as Joe Flacco and the offense finally came alive. The Ravens are that team you don’t want to face come postseason time because of their experience. Sometimes all it takes is a hot team to get things going and the Ravens need to pick up another win Sunday night.

The Steelers continue their winning ways but have played down to the level of their opponents and Monday night was a prime example of that. On paper, the Bengals should’ve never been in that game but they made it extremely close. Heading into the playoffs the Steelers can’t afford to play like that against better teams or it’s going to cost them. Still, having the weapons on offense always makes them an extremely tough team to play any week.

Expect this to be another close game that will likely come down to a field goal.
