High Value PG

Tyler Johnson, MIA at BKN ($4,400): Johnson had 33.6 fantasy points against the Spurs on Wednesday. The Nets rank 20th against the position in their last 15 games. If he’s not scoring, he’s not adding a ton of value, but he’s done a good job of putting the ball in the basket in recent games. He has a high usage off the Miami bench and the Nets are a good matchup. ****

Austin Rivers, LAC vs WAS ($6,500): Rivers has been at 35+ fantasy points in four of his last five games. The Wizards are 21st against the position and Rivers has stepped up with Blake Griffin sidelined. He’s been able to get hit points and he’s chipping in with plenty of assists. If Danilo Gallinari can find his shooting stroke, that takes pressure off of Rivers and likely boost his assist totals. ***

Tony Parker, SA at PHO ($3,700): It’s possible that Parker rests given that this is a back-to-back for San Antonio. If he doesn’t he should be nicely over value once again. He’s started to play himself into form in the last two games, posting 29.1 fantasy points against Miami and 24 fantasy points against Boston. He can overwhelm in the assist category, but his real value is his ability to put up numbers in all categories while rarely turning the ball over. The Suns should be easy pickings for him. *****
