High Value SF

Rudy Gay, SA at PHO ($5,500): Gay was once again over 25 fantasy points on Friday, hitting that mark for a fourth straight game. He’s been great as the Spurs starting small forward, doing a little bit of everything in all categories. Assuming he plays against the Suns, he should have no problem getting his points and rebounds. The Suns are 21st against the position. *****

Jonathon Simmons, ORL at ATL ($6,100): Simmons continues to hit value as a starter. He had 24.8 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Friday. Prior to that, he had 26.7 fantasy points on Wednesday against the Hawks. Given the Hawks defensive and rebounding struggles, another 15 point, six rebound game should no be an issue for Simmons. He only needs 25 fantasy points to hit value. That should come easy to Simmons, especially with Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier out. *****

Trevor Ariza, HOU at POR ($5,000): Houston role players can be hit and miss as it really comes down to shot-making for them. Ariza has hit a dud rating in just five percent of games this season. So, even if he’s not hitting value, he’s rarely bottoming out. He can knock down 3s and rebound. The Blazers rank 30th against the position in their last 15 games and Ariza will certainly get his looks in the Rockets offense.
