Derrius Guice

Running Back, LSU

The Seattle Seahawks lost a tough one on Sunday, as they went into Jacksonville and were beaten by the Jaguars. It has been an up and down season for Seattle in 2017, as they have had to deal with some injuries to the defense. They did pick up offensive tackle Duane Brown during the season, shoring up their issues on the left side of the line, and they will likely go another route come draft day.

With their first round pick in 2018, the Seahawks should look to bring in a running back. They have used six different starting running backs this season, and the lack of stability at the position is making Russell Wilson do way too much. He is going to end up getting injured like Cam Newton did last year if they do not try to put a real playmaker behind him on the offensive side of the ball.

One such player who could help out a lot is LSU running back Derrius Guice, who actually led the SEC in rushing in 2016 as the backup to Leonard Fournette. Guice has an NFL-ready body, and had it not been for Saquon Barkley, he would be the first back selected in this draft class. He is going to be a great pro, and drafting him would give Wilson his first true running back since Marshawn Lynch decided to retire a couple of years back.
