Ronnie Harrison

Defensive Back, Alabama

The Tennessee Titans took a rough loss on Sunday, and many are starting to question the talent of Marcus Mariota. Mariota was having a breakout season in 2016 before an injury ended his season, and he has been pretty inconsistent so far in 2017. The Titans do still control one of the Wildcard spots in the AFC, but they are going to need him to be better if they are going to make a serious run through the playoffs this season.

Mariota is going to be fine, as he has the talent to move the ball against any defense. Last weekend, the team got a great effort from their defense, which was able to hold the Arizona Cardinals to only 12 points. The Titans need to continue to bring in talented players on the defensive side of the ball, and Alabama safety Ronnie Harrison might be the best pure safety that this draft class has to offer.

The Titans need to be better in the secondary, and Harrison would give them a player who can take over as the leader of the unit. He is a huge reason why the Crimson Tide made it to their third consecutive College Football Playoff, and it will be interesting to see how he does against Clemson this time around. Harrison is a ball-hawk, but also has tremendous hands, which are going to make him a serious playmaker at the next level.
