Best NFL highlights of Week 15: Patriots steal a win
By Joe Schiller
2. Have a day, Todd Gurley
Not one, not two, not three but FOUR touchdowns for Todd Gurley today. I don’t think any of us saw this coming but the Los Angeles Rams went into Seattle and absolutely crushed the Seahawks 42-7. The game was never close and Gurley had 150+ rushing yards and three touchdowns in the first half. If you started him on your fantasy team today, you won your playoff game today, no doubt.
Many were down on Gurley after a sophomore slump last year but he’s had his best season yet in his young three-year career. With Carson Wentz and Antonio Brown out right now, Gurley has to jump into the MVP conversation. The Rams are a very dangerous team if Gurley puts on similar performances to what he did today.
1. Duron Harmon wins it for the Patriots
What. A. Game.
I’m not even sure what a catch is anymore but it doesn’t matter. We expected this to be the game of the year and it was just that. The Steelers thought they had the game-winning score but Jesse James’ touchdown was overturned. Ben Roethlisberger tried to channel his inner Dan Marino but held on to the ball a second too long. The pass was deflected and picked off by safety Duron Harmon, winning the game for the Patriots.
Next: 3 reasons Steelers can still win without Antonio Brown
There’s nothing else to say other than this was a fantastic game. It’s a preview of the AFC Championship and we’d be lucky to see these two teams play again this season.
