Wide Receivers: Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints-$8,100; Devin Funchess, Carolina Panthers-$7,300, Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers-$5,700

The Saints have been fairly run-focused offensively. But Thomas has at least eight targets in eight straight games, with at least five catches in all eight and 65 or more yards in seven of those contests. Over that eight-game stretch Thomas has a 30.3 percent target share from Drew Brees, and he’s getting a favorable matchup in Week 15.

The New York Jets have allowed three wide receiver touchdowns in their last two games, and the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season (ESPN PPR scoring). If Alvin Kamara (concussion) misses Sunday’s game, Thomas would be in line for a target total similar to Week 14 (14 targets).

Funchess only has seven catches over his last two games, but two have gone for touchdowns and he has four touchdowns over his last four games. He has posted over 11 FanDuel points in five straight.

The Green Bay Packers are 24th in the league against the pass, and as their cornerback group has been thinned by injuries they’ve allowed five wide receiver touchdowns over their last three games. Funchess is a physical mismatch for that depleted secondary, and since Kelvin Benjamin was traded he has become Carolina’s clear No. 1 wide receiver.

After not being targeted at all in Week 13, Cobb rebounded solidly with eight receptions (for just 39 yards though) against the Cleveland Browns last week. With Aaron Rodgers set to return Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, Cobb is in position to finish the season strongly.

In four full games with Rodgers under center early this season, Cobb averaged 7.8 targets, 5.8 catches and 54.5 yards per game. Compared to what he did in essentially seven games with Brett Hundley before last week (3.7 targets, 2.9 receptions and 35 yards per game), and Cobb should welcome a switch back to a better quarterback.

The Panthers have allowed a wide receiver touchdown in five straight games, and 191 yards per game to the position over their last six games. That has pushed them into the bottom-10 of the league in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers (ESPN PPR scoring), at just the right time for the Packers’ receivers to get Rodgers back and fully capitalize on a matchup that has been trending toward very favorable. Cobb is also a nice value at his $5,700 salary.
