FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 18, 2017
High Value PG
Jamal Murray, DEN at OKC ($6,100): With Emmanuel Mudiay questionable, Murray is the top point guard on the Nuggets. Even if Mudiay is able to play, he’s much more of a risk than a Murray, who has been over 30 fantasy points in three straight. Murray can do a little bit of everything, including helping out in the defensive category. Mudiay was the point guard who went off against Oklahoma City in November, there’s a good chance that it’ll be Murray on Monday night. ***
Yogi Ferrell, DAL vs PHO ($4,800): While J.J. Barea has been more consistent this season, Ferrell has been over 30 fantasy in two of his last three. He’ll likely draw another start if Dennis Smith Jr. is out. If Smith Jr. plays, look at Barea over Ferrell due to Barea’s making more of his minutes than Ferrell, who needs more minutes to succeed. Either way, there’s a good chance a Dallas guard goes off given that the Suns are 27th against the position in their last 15 games. ****
Milos Teodosic, LAC at SA ($4,900): Teodosic is starting to come around a bit after missing most of the season with an injury. Austin Rivers is scheduled to return on Monday, which will cut into Teodosic’s usage, but he’s too good of a shooter and passer to stay off the floor. Expect to see him alongside Rivers and Lou Williams as the Clippers search for perimeter scoring. Even when he’s not scoring, he’s collecting boards and setting up teammates for good looks. Despite their overall defense being strong, the Spurs are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games. ****
