So you like the best games, huh? You have great taste. Who cares if the matchups are made ahead of season and sometimes you’re stuck with Lakers-Clippers on a Friday night on ESPN, because most times you’re getting the Warriors-Lakers or Hawks-Magic or something better.

I’m not sure when the next time the Thunder won’t be on the games of the week schedule. Perhaps I’ll make a strictly anti-Thunder theme so we can add a little more variety to it. But, alas, that will be in the future. For now, we’ll be left to wonder why Thunder coach Billy Donovan believes resting all three of Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook is a good idea at any point in the game. The Thunder will remain one of the best team defenses in the league, but in the clutch and all that blah blah.

The game of the week belongs to the Cavaliers and Bucks, if not for the sole purpose of getting more Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron action. LeBron has even more otherworldly than before, which probably puts him about twelve planets beyond Earth at this point in his career and Antetokounmpo continues to dominate in all phases despite still struggling to shoot. The Bucks have lost three straight and the Cavs have won four in a row, but when you’re dealing with the best player in the world and a guy who can become the next best player in the world, who cares about anything else?
