Dear Season Ticket Holders,

On behalf of our entire organization, I would like to thank you for your support during this season. We know that this was not the season we had hoped for six months ago.

We honestly thought that Andrew Luck was going to return within the first month of the season. Some players just heal faster than others, I guess. Please believe that we did not intentionally lie to you in order to cover our own tracks. We have sent Mr. Luck to Europe to get his shoulder evaluated. Not because we don’t have confidence in our doctors here in Indianapolis. We just feel that Andrew needs a second opinion from a licensed medical professional in Europe. It worked for Kobe Bryant. We’ll take Andrew completing eight of 24 passes.

We also believed that, despite our past differences, Chuck Pagano can steer the ship in the right direction. We continue to back coach Pagano and we’re certain that he will turn things around next season. Despite what you may read in the coming months, we support coach Pagano 100 percent. We are, unequivocally, not searching for a new head coach.

We know that it’s tough to put your money into a team that has regressed over the last few years. However, I’d like to remind you all that the last time Andrew was fully healthy, we were in the AFC title game.

We are confident that Andrew will return to full health next season and we will be back in the thick of things in the AFC. For that reason, we ask you to renew your season tickets, at just a 10 percent increase over this season. We realize that increasing the price may not sit well with many fans. Once again, we are only doing this because Andrew will be healthy and we expect to be back in the AFC title game.

A 10 percent increase may sound like a lot at this moment, but you will forget all about it in mid-January when you’re watching Andrew Luck and the rest of the Colts in the AFC title game.

Thank you.

Signed, the Indianapolis Colts organization
