Sam Hubbard

Edge, Ohio State

The Tennessee Titans are holding on to a playoff spot through the first 15 weeks of the NFL season, but they are starting to lose their grip. On Sunday, they lost to the two-win San Francisco 49ers, as Jimmy Garoppolo showed some more late-game heroics against them. If they continue to play the way they did against the 49ers, they might not even make it to the playoffs, which would be quite the disappointing finish for Marcus Mariota and company.

One issue with the team this season has been the play of Mariota, as he has taken a step back in year three. Mariota saw his 2016 campaign end due to injury, and he may be still trying to get back to 100 percent. Whatever the reason is, the Titans need him to be better moving forward, as the future of the franchise hinges on his strong right arm.

When it comes time to draft, the Titans will be picking later in round one, and should focus their attention on the defensive line. The Titans can win by running the ball, and playing good defense, and drafting a player like Sam Hubbard from Ohio State would definitely help them up front. You have to be able to get after the quarterback if you want to win in the AFC South, and Jacksonville is showing everyone the blueprint to do just that.
