Arden Key

Edge, LSU

The hope for the Indianapolis Colts franchise is that star quarterback Andrew Luck can come back in 2018 fully healthy, as he has missed the entire 2017 campaign due to a shoulder issue. Luck had surgery in January on his throwing shoulder, and the worst case scenario at the time was that he would miss a couple of weeks. That has turned into him being place on injured reserve, and he is currently across the pond getting his shoulder evaluated in Europe.

If the Colts can get Luck back, they should be in good shape, as there is enough talent on this roster to win. In the AFC South, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been surprisingly dominant, but a healthy Luck would catapult the Colts back into the conversation of being one of the best teams in the division. With their first round pick in 2018, the Colts should look to bolster their defensive line, and Arden Key may be the best edge rusher in this draft.

The debate between Key and Bradley Chubb should be a good one leading up to the draft, but we will give Key the nod for now. Key has an explosive first step from his defensive end position, and has the athletic ability to put the pressure on the quarterback each and every play. The Colts need to be able to get after the quarterback in the AFC South, and he would add to a defense that could use some help along the defensive line.
